About Course

This webinar covers the initiation, progression, and fracture of cracks in teeth, grounded in biomechanical and clinical principles. It introduces crack types, fracture mechanics, and the material properties of enamel, dentin, and root dentin. Clinical implications, diagnostic challenges, and treatment options are discussed, including the concept of crack dissection.

About Dr.Masoud Hassan Zadeh

Masoud Hassan Zadeh has been dedicated to biomimetic restorative dentistry since 2019. He runs a private practice in Drachten, the Netherlands, where he applies this approach daily with a focus on preserving tooth structure and promoting long-term oral health. His work is guided by the principle of healthy ageing and the belief that restorative dentistry should prevent, not contribute to, the cycle of structural breakdown.

Masoud earned his dental degree from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey, in 2015 and became registered in the Netherlands through ACTA in Amsterdam in 2018. Alongside his clinical work, he regularly contributes to Dutch dental publications, sharing practical insights and developments in the field.

In 2024, he introduced the term “internal craze line” in a study on enamel cracks—highlighting a subtle but clinically significant form of damage that can’t be seen with conventional tools.
